This self-paced staff training program is designed to ensure all staff at Te Whare Hauora Ōtautahi Women’s Refuge understand and apply the NCIWR Standards of Practice. Covering key expectations and best practices for working with clients, supporting the workforce, and upholding organisational excellence, this program empowers staff to deliver safe, culturally grounded, and effective services. Participants will learn about client rights, cultural safety, non-discrimination, family violence-informed practice, feedback and complaints, workforce development, governance, risk management, and continuous improvement. The training includes practical examples, resources, and quizzes to reinforce learning and ensure compliance with sector standards.
