This module empowers staff at Te Whare Hauora Ōtautahi Women’s Refuge with foundational knowledge of Ngāi Tahu whakapapa, governance structures (TRONT, Papatipu Rūnaka), and best practices for iwi/whānau engagement in Te Waipounamu. It explores Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations and highlights the significance of culturally grounded mahi within a Māori refuge ecosystem. Staff will gain practical tools and insights to strengthen relationships, uphold Te Tiriti, and support whānau with mana and integrity.
